Gary and I were working at the show room at the Arlington Heights Hilton when we lived in Chicago. One night, a man came in and asked if he could go to his room and get him steel guitar and sit in. He was the lead guitar player for Donna Summer who was at a nearby venue. He asked if I knew You Made Me Love You and of course it was an old favorite, so we did it together.
Little did I know that there was also a music producer in the audience and said I should record that song. So we did.
A little country, big band and Al Jolson style all in one.
