This recording session was truly a fun experience. Recorded at Pyramid Recording Studios on Lookout Mountain, TN. Joe Walsh et al had just been in the week before and it seemed they were still doing some cleanup. Oh, the stories! But, what happens in the studio, stays in the studio, no leaks!
Scott MacLellan, the owner, was very gracious to us and the musicians he chose were fantastic. I believe some may have been from the Atlanta Rhythm Section, very extaordinary players.
On this particular song, the guitar player played his leads, and then went back and picked the harmonies all manually - no harmonizer machines. It was amazing to watch and he got it down in only a few takes! And the keyboard player just flies over those keys - so smooth!
A little Boogie-Woogie with a touch of jazz. Toe-tapping and makes you want to dance!
